UGC NET June 2025 Result Date Out

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to release the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2025 June Results. The UGC NET June result date 2025 is July 22. You can download your exam results on the official NTA website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. You just need to click on the UGC NET June 2025 Result link and enter your login credentials.

The UGC NET June 2025 exam was conducted between June 25 and 29. This exam is held in two cycles every year: June and December. It assesses your eligibility for the positions of Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship, and admission to the PhD programme. Please note that there are no re-evaluations or re-checks of the UGC NET result.

SBI PO 2025 Prelims Exam Date Announced

The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially announced the dates for the Probationary Officer (PO) preliminary exam. It shall be conducted on August 2, 4, and 5, across different centres. The preliminary exam is a computer-based, objective type one-hour exam. There are a total of three sections in the exam.

This year, there are 541 vacancies for the SBI PO 2025 post. The online registration for the exam began on June 24, 2025 and closed on July 14. The SBI PO exam is conducted in three phases: preliminary, main, and interview stage. Your final selection is subject to clearing all three phases.

Tamil Nadu has Proposed the Addition of 460 New PG Medical Seats in Government Colleges by 2026

The state of Tamil Nadu plans to increase 460 seats in the existing PG medical courses in the government colleges. The state has sought approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC). The seats shall be added at the government medical colleges in Tiruppur, Tiruvallur, Namakkal, Virudhunagar, Nilgiris, Kallakurichi, Dindigul, Nagapattinam, Ariyalur, Pudukottai, Karur, Ramanathapuram, and Krishnagiri.

Moreover, an official order has been issued to start new PG medical courses in 13 government colleges, along with an increase in the number of seats. After the state’s approval, the Director of Medical Education and Research can apply for approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC).

NCERT Explains Intent Behind Class 8 Historical Content

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) stated that the facts are drawn from ‘well-known primary and secondary academic sources’. This statement came after the portrayal of Mughals and Delhi Sultanate in the class 8th Social Science textbook as ‘exploring society, India and beyond’. NCERT states that they aim to help students understand the nation’s past, critically.

In another statement, NCERT said that the social sciences textbook attempts to provide a multidisciplinary perspective of various events that took place between the 13th to mid mid-19th century. The focus is on providing holistic learning through textbooks based on well-known primary and secondary academic sources. This issue has generated a discussion among historians. While some historians support the new approach, other historians call for more balanced conversations.

The Education Minister inaugurates the University of Southampton Gurugram Campus

In a recent development, the Union Minister of Education, Mr. Dharmendra Pradhan, inaugurated the Gurugram campus of the University of Southampton. The University of Southampton ranks in the QS Top 100 global institutions and the Russell Group of Institutions. With the inauguration, it has become the first foreign university to build a campus in India as per the University Grants Commission’s Guidelines. The university is all set to provide high-quality education in areas such as computer science, international business, economics, and management.

The Gurugram campus offers four undergraduate courses and two postgraduate courses. Classes are all set to start from the August 2025 academic session. The University would allow students to spend up to one year at the University’s campuses in Malaysia and the UK. This development is a crucial step towards aligning with the global education standards under NEP 2020. Moreover, it acts as a bridge between the two nations, India and the UK.

India Wins 4 Medals at International Chemistry Olympiad 2025 in UAE

The India team bagged four medals, two gold and two silver, in the 57th International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2025. The team consisted of four student members. Devesh Pankaj and Sandeep Kuchi won the gold medals. Ujjwal Kesari and Debadatta Priyadarshi won silver medals. This four-medal win placed India in the overall sixth position along with Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Israel.

The participants were chosen through the National Olympiad Examination conducted by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). The selection process included There were 354 participants from 90 countries and five observing nations. This year was India’s 26th appearance at the IChO.

India’s First Ever Canadian Diploma Offered in Gujarat

In a recent development, Gujarat welcomed the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) in its institutions. Canada’s Rosedale International Education has partnered with Udgam Consultancy to offer globally recognised OSSD in India for the first time. The OSSD curriculum focuses on industry-relevant skills, global citizenship, and real-world learning. This diploma is widely accepted across countries like the US, the UK, Australia, Germany, and Singapore.

The OSSD fosters a student-centric approach, allowing students to explore subjects like psychology, data analytics, business, and media. Additionally, the curriculum follows continuous assessment and project-based learning, rather than focusing on a single high-pressure exam. This shift represents India’s alignment with global education and the New Education Policy 2020.

ICSI CSEET 2025 Result Declared

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released the CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) results on July 16, 2025. The result was announced on the official portal at around 2 p.m. You can check your scores on the official website of ICSI at icisi.edu.in. To download your result, you need to log in with your ID number and your date of birth.

You can also access your subject-wise mark breakdown along with your scores. The CS Executive Entrance Test was conducted on July 5 and July 6. The exams consisted of four core papers: business communication, legal aptitude and logical reasoning, economics and business environment, and current affairs and quantitative aptitude. To clear the exam, you must score at least 40% in each individual paper and 50% aggregate. This exam is conducted four times a year in January, May, July, and November.
