IIT Kanpur announces online MTech, MSc, and PG Diploma Programmes

The Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur has officially launched online PG degrees and diploma courses. The announcement includes an online Master of Technology, an online Master of Science, and an online Postgraduate Diploma programme. Whether you are a working professional, a lifelong learner, or a fresher, these courses would offer flexibility and high-quality education.

IIT Kanpur has designed interdisciplinary and immersive programme curricula for these online courses. To be eligible for these courses, you must score qualifying marks in the IITK online test. IIT Roorkee announced advanced certificate courses in Quantum Computing Algorithm and AI/ML

The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee has launched an Advanced Certificate in Quantum Computing: Algorithm & AI/ML. This 6.5-month-long programme offers hands-on learning, an industry-ready curriculum, a capstone project and assignments, real-world QML applications, and campus immersion. Moreover, you would gain a certificate from IIT Roorkee.

The top skills you would learn are quantum computing fundamentals, quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning, Qiskit, and Pennylane. To be eligible for the programme, you must have completed your bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or science with a strong mathematics background. The total Advanced Certificate in Quantum Computing: Algorithm & AI/ML fee is INR 1,87,620.

IIM Raipur announces six leadership management development programmes

The Indian Institute of Management Raipur has announced new management development courses for October and November 2025. The programmes in October include decoding organisational behaviour and financial risk management. In the month of November, the institute shall cover topics such as corporate communication, strategic thinking, and franchising for business growth. With these courses, IIM Raipur aims to equip you with managerial capabilities across various fields like finance, risk management, human resources, and organisational behaviour.

IIT Madras partners with BodhBridge Education to launch free entrepreneurship training programmes

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation is going into a partnership with BodhBridge Education. This course is designed for both undergraduate and postgraduate professionals, and working professionals. Whether you are an aspiring entrepreneur, innovator, or a futuristic leader, with this programme, you would learn to make a real impact.

During the duration of the course, you would learn to identify real opportunities, turn your ideas into ventures, understand finances and funding, and earn IITM recognition. The course includes 4 hours of live sessions, reading material, and a 1-hour certification exam. While the course is available for free, however, to get certified, you need to register for a certificate exam, pay the fee, and score qualifying marks in the post-training assessment.

NIT Hamirpur student sets a record with an INR 3.4 crore annual salary package

A National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur student has set a new record by bagging an annual salary package of INR 3.4 crore. Aryan Mittal is a Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication (dual degree) student. This package was secured by the student from an organisation during the placement season.

Moreover, among female students, two students from the Electronics stream have earned packages worth INR 1.68 crore per annum each. Furthermore, 15 students have earned an annual salary package above INR 40 Lakh, and 50 students have earned above INR 30 Lakh each.

Company Secretary Executive entrance test January 2026 registration opens

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has opened the registration for its CSEET January 2026. You can apply for the examination on the official ICSI website at icsi.edu.in. The last date to fill out the registration form is December 15, 2025, and the total application fee is INR 2000. The CSEET January examination is scheduled for January 10, 2026.

The test covers four subjects: business communication, legal aptitude, logical reasoning, economic and business environment, current affairs, and quantitative aptitude. Each subject carries a weightage of 50 marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Whether you have cleared 10+2 or are appearing for the examination, you are eligible to apply for the exam.

Uttar Pradesh Government to give scholarships to 4.8 lakh OBC students

The Uttar Pradesh Government has announced scholarship distribution for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This scholarship is for the financial year 2025-26. It is to ensure that no student faces a delay in accessing financial aid for their education. To achieve this, the process of scholarship and fee reimbursement is made faster, digital, and transparent.

This scholarship drive will be implemented in two phases. During the first phase, INR 62.13 crore was distributed to more than 2.5 lakh OBC students from class 9 to 12. Whereas, during the second phase, an additional amount of INR 126.68 crore was transferred to the banks of 4.83 lakh students.

3 lakh schools join India’s biggest innovation buildathon

Over 3 lakh schools have participated in the Viksit Bharat Buildathon (VBB), 2025. VBB is the largest synchronised innovation hackathon in India’s history. This initiative was launched in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission. The aim is to promote creativity and problem-solving across classrooms in India.

Classes 6th to 12th are eligible to apply for Buildathon. This competition encourages students to ideate, design, and develop prototypes under four broad themes. The ideas germinating during the competition will be used as solutions for domestic challenges globally. The final winners for the programme shall be announced in December 2025.

A move towards digitisation: CBSE ends hard copy migration certificate for class X and XII

In a recent development, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that it will now only issue a digital copy of the migration certificate for class X and XII students. According to this shift, no hard copy of the certificate shall be issued to the students. With this initiative, CBSE aims to promote digital documentation. This decision was announced after the University Grants Commission (UGC) announced that it would accept digital certificates issued by boards like CBSE. Additionally, there are no extra fees for the issuance of migration certificates for the 2025 examinations.
