IIT Palakkad has announced an AI-powered learning app

The Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad has created an AI-powered learning application for students preparing to clear competitive exams. It is India’s first AI-powered learning app, especially designed for students planning to appear for the competitive exams. The application named Tutoz is made by an IIT Pallakad-incubated startup, Revin Techno Silutions.

Tutoz will support your preparations for exams like the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), and the Common Aptitude Test (CAT) with affordable and tailored learning. This app has not only made quality preparation accessible, but it is also bridging learning gaps in rural areas.

The Ministry of Education has launched 5 Free AI Courses on Swayam

In a recent development, the Ministry of Education has announced five free AI courses. You can find these courses on the SWAYAM portal. The faculty members from IIT have prepared these courses. These courses shall equip you with AI, machine learning, and data science skills. Whether you are a student or a professional, you can pursue these courses anytime, anywhere, from the comfort of your own home, at no cost.

The full form of SWAYAM is the Study Web of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds. It allows anyone to pursue a high-quality education at zero cost. However, if you want a certification for completing the course, you must pay the fee and take an assessment test.

NCERT is offering a free online maths course for class 12th students

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is providing a free online mathematics course on the SWAYAM portal. Anybody can access this course on the portal. This course would allow you to clear your doubts, revise concepts, and improve your problem-solving abilities. The best part is that you can directly enrol on the course on the SWAYAM website and start learning.

It shall include e-learning materials, video lectures, practice questions, and extra study materials. This course would cover the most important concepts, such as determinants, relations and functions, trigonometric functions, differentiability, and derivatives. The classes shall be conducted week by week, allowing you the time to learn at your own pace.

IIM Bodh Gaya has announced a new online Executive MBA programme

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya has launched a new online Executive MBA programme. It is a flexible two-year online programme. This online EMBA programme is specially designed for mid to senior-level working professionals who are looking to gain mindful leadership skills across industries. The total tuition fee for the IIM Bodh Gaya Executive MBA programme is INR 10,00,000.

The curriculum covers diverse domains such as finance, marketing, analytics, strategy, and more. To be eligible for this EMBA programme, you must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Moreover, you need 3 years of full-time post-qualification work experience. You need to clear the application test to qualify for the exam.

Lucknow University allows dual degrees with online courses

In a recent development, Lucknow University (LU) has opened the application for its online courses. Now, an existing UG or PG student and other learners can enrol in any of these online courses, allowing you to pursue dual degrees. The university has launched a total of nine online undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The courses include BCom, BBA, MCom, MA and MBA.

These courses are flexible and self-paced, making it easier for you to pursue an online course with an existing ongoing programme. Moreover, the university has put special care into making the courses industry-relevant and practical. LU shall offer these courses through a centralised Learning Management System (LMS). The learning methodology includes e-text materials, video tutorials, discussion forums, and assessments.

Google has launched a new certification for non-technical professionals

Are you ready to become a Gen-AI Leader? Google has announced a new Gen-AI Leader Certification for non-technical professionals. However, the course is open to anyone in a technical or non-technical field to pursue the course. It is designed for Google users and partners who are looking to upskill and learn about generative AI.

The course would cover topics such as large language models, the AI ecosystem, generative AI, and its practical application. This is a 2-day event which includes training followed by a complimentary Generative AI Leader certification exam voucher. The event will be held on 25 and 26 September 2025. You can register and complete the exam anywhere between 26 September and 20 October.

McKinsey announces a new forward programme

The McKinsey organisation has announced a multi-week learning programme for freshers and professionals looking to upskill or career switch. The course shall equip you with crucial workplace transferable skills across roles and industries. Throughout the course, you will explore adaptability, communication, relationship building, problem-solving, and more.

This McKinsey course would equip you with advanced knowledge, skills, and a digital toolkit. It is a ten-week programme, self-paced online programme. You would also get a chance to explore virtual learning events and assignments. Moreover, you would get a chance to become a part of the global network.

CSIR UGC NET June 2025 result declared!

The National Testing Agency has declared the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) June 2025 results. The result was declared on 20 August. You can now download the score card from the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. To download the scorecard, you need your credentials.

The CSIR UGC NET June 2025 test was conducted on 28 July 2025. The test was conducted in a computer-based mode in around 218 cities across the nation in two shifts. A total of 1,46,732 candidates appeared for the test. This test shall determine whether you are eligible for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professorship positions or not.

UGC has directed the universities and colleges to stop online healthcare and allied courses

In a recent update, the University Grants Commission has prohibited higher education institutions from offering healthcare and allied courses in distance and online mode. This rule shall apply from the academic session July-August 2025. With this step, the UGC aims to keep healthcare education of high quality.

UGC wants to make sure that learners get hands-on practice and training, which online or distance education cannot provide. The courses like MBBS, dentistry, pharmacy, psychology, physiotherapy, ayurveda, and more are affected by this decision. If you are planning to enrol in such a course, ensure that you check with the college first.

The UP Government has initiated an Atal Scholarship for higher education in the UK

The Uttar Pradesh Government has partnered with the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) to launch a new international scholarship programme. The scholarship shall be known as the Chevening UP Atal Scholarship. It would allow you to pursue a master’s degree in the United Kingdom with full financial support.

This scheme is open for students who show exceptional academic results. The scholarship would cover almost every expense, including tuition, exam, accommodation, food, and yearly travel between India and the UK. The scheme would cover five meritorious students from the state of UP. The cost per student is estimated between INR 45-48 LPA.
