The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi has collaborated with Nagent AI to launch a hybrid upskilling programme. It aims to train professionals in developing and deploying an AI agent without writing code. This is a 23-hour-long online programme with an in-person campus impression. The goal is to bridge India’s widening AI-skill gap.
The registration has started and shall close on August 30. The curriculum includes agent orchestration, agentic prompting, proprietary data, and multi-agent collaboration. Please note that there are only 30 seats available, as it is a short course. The course shall also provide hands-on experience using cutting-edge AI models, RAG pipelines and tools.
In a significant step, the Central Board of Secondary Education has approved the proposal of introducing open-book assessments in schools. Under this policy, the students will be allowed to use textbooks and notes during the examination. This initiative will first be implemented for class 9 students starting in the 2026-27 academic session. Under the initiative, there will be three pen and paper tests in an academic year.
This decision aligns with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education 2023 and the National Education Policy 2020. However, CBSE has made the implementation of the open-book examination optional. The open-book assessment shall allow students to write line by line from the book. To keep up with the changes, teachers will also undergo special training.
The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, under its digital learning initiative, has launched a new fintech certification course. This course is especially designed for early-career professionals and students. Moreover, the certification is also supported by the Government of Karnataka as part of the skilling and training initiative.
The course will be delivered in two parts: a foundation certificate and an advanced certificate. The foundation certificate will be a six-month course, whereas the advanced certification will be for three months. The application for the course opened on August 11, 2025 and shall close on September 14, 2025. You can register for the programme on the official IIMB website at http://iimbx.iimb.ac.in/fintech/.
The Institute of Baking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the admit card for the Probationary Officer 2025 preliminary examination. You can download the admit card on the official website. To download the admit card, you need your registration number, password or date of birth. The exam is to be conducted on August 17, 23, and 24. You must bring the admit card along with other essential documents.
The official website to download the IBPS PO 2025 admit card is ibps.in. Once you open the homepage, locate the link for the IBPS online pre-examination admit card 2025. Click the link and log in using your registration number with date of birth, or password. Your admit card shall showcase the examination venue, examination timings, roll number, and more.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the admit cards for the Mains Civil Services Examination 2025. You can download the hall ticket from the official UPSC website at upsc.gov.in. The UPSC CSE mains 2025 is set to be held on August 22, 23, 24, 30, and 31. The main examination will be conducted in two shifts: morning and afternoon. The morning shift runs from 9 am to 12 pm, and the afternoon shift runs from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
To download or open the mains 2025 admit card, you need the visit the official website and log in using your credentials. Your admit card shall give you important details such as examination venue, timings, roll number, essential documents, and more. Please ensure that you carry the admit card and essential documents on the date of the exam.
The Symbiosis International (deemed university) has officially opened the applications for MBA admissions through SNAP 2025. The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is an entrance exam conducted by Symbiosis to select candidates for their MBA programme. If you are interested in the course, you can apply online via the official website. SNAP is a computer-based test.
The application has opened and shall close within a limited time. Please note that there are multiple SNAP test dates: December 6, 14, and 20. You can select as per your convenience and availability. The SNAP 2025 shall cover topics such as general English, quantitative, data interpretation, data sufficiency, and analytical and logical reasoning.
The Karnataka State Education Policy Commission has submitted its final report. The report has proposed a two-language policy across the schools in the state. The policy would apply to all the government, aided, and private Kannada and English medium schools. In the linguistic minority schools, teaching the third language shall be optional.
Moreover, the commission has suggested that Kannada or the mother tongue shall remain as the medium of instruction till class 5. The commission has also suggested the adoption of a 2+8+4 system. Under the system, two years shall remain for pre-primary, eight for primary education and four years of secondary. Furthermore, the report suggested making the Right to Education (RTE) Act, to age 18 from 14.
In a recent update, the Supreme Court (SC) has upheld the three-year law practice for all the entry-level state judicial examinations. The court observed that any modification shall open a ‘Pandora’s box’. The SC remains firm on maintaining a uniform eligibility standard across the country. This plea was filed by a judge from Madhya Pradesh, who sought reconsideration.
According to the original judgement, now the fresh law graduates are barred from appearing for the entry-level judicial services examination. The candidate must have at least three years of law practice experience before applying for the examination. The original judgment was delivered by a bench led by the Chief Justice BR Gavai.
