Candidates are advised to solve previous years' question papers in order to get an idea of the syllabus, an estimated no. of questions per topic, and the exam pattern. Solving PYPs not only familiarises you with exam patterns but also helps you apply your knowledge and practice effectively. This way candidates will focus more on important topics rather than going through everything which is not even essential regarding the IFoS syllabus.
Mock tests are an excellent way to practise what you have learnt in a given time, which significantly creates exam-like scenarios for candidates as they get limited time per question. Solving mock tests enhances writing speed, thinking ability, and accuracy, which is a great way to prepare for competitive exams that often have fewer timings and maximum questions. Aspiring candidates can access the free mock tests for IFoS 2024, which are given below.
