  • Fee Exemption: If a student who has availed fee exemption requests cancellation and has only paid the registration fee and development fee, only the development fee shall be refunded.

  • Study Material Cost Refund: If applicable, the cost of study materials (especially hard copies) will be deducted based on IGNOU’s refund policy.

If a student has opted only for the soft copy of the study materials, no extra fee is deducted. However, if a student has opted for hard copies of the study materials, the fee paid is refunded after deducting the registration fee, along with the cost of the hard copy materials.
