About the Course

We are surrounded by designed objects, from highways that traverse thousands of kilometres to a pen drive that fits a lot in the smallest of spaces. Designers have used their skills to translate ideas and needs into all the objects that we see around us. This course aims to create an awareness and understanding of the discipline of design and its multidisciplinary nature. The relevance and value of design and how it impacts society, industry, and the environment are established through lectures, case studies, and project activities.

What You Will Learn?

Points To Note

The course is offered by IIT Bombay, ensuring high-quality educational content.

It is taught by Prof. Nina Sabnani, an artist and storyteller with expertise in design and animation.

The course is free to enrol but for a certificate, you have to register and write the proctored exam conducted by them in person at any of the designated exam centres.

You will be eligible for certification If your average assignment score is higher than 10 out of 25 and your exam score is more than 30 out of 75.
