This course aims to provide an insight to the world of enzymes and microbes for manufacturing products. This has a huge impact on the industry and has grown to be very significant. It teaches us to obtain products from diverse fields including chemicals, food, bio-energy etc. The course gives an experimental demonstration of bioreactors as well as an introduction to their kinds and techniques of operation. This course helps students to gain more practical knowledge rather than just having theoretical base knowledge. Overall, this course teaches the main requirements of the operation of biochemical industries will be taught and discussed.

What You Will Learn?

This course will teach a quite lot of practical stuff to its students. These can be applied in various fields and students of biotechnology, chemical engineering, food engineering, and pharmaceutical industries can take up this course through which they will be benefitted. Some of the important aspects the students will learn in this course are as follows:

Exploiting Enzymes and microbes to manufacture products that have a good industrial significance.

Students will learn the making of several products such as wine and cheese making, antibiotics and vaccines etc.
