About the Course

This course aims to cover the fundamentals of the drilling and blasting process during rock excavation. The two most important aspects of Rock Geology are taught to make students ready for the excavation ahead. This predominantly popular technique deals with surface and sub-surface excavation and this course will help students understand all the processes, engineering and economic feasibility involved in doing so. It is a 3 months course where esteemed Professor Kaushik Dey will teach all the ins and outs of Drilling and Blasting of Mining Engineering. This will help students gain knowledge and be proficient in this Mining Engineering field.
