The SRM Joint Entrance Examination for Engineering or SRMJEEE is a national-level entrnace exam by SRMIST for admission to B.Tech programmes across its campuses. Held in three phases (April, June and July), it's conducted in remote protored online mode with 130 MCQs from Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology, English and Aptitude. There's no negative marking and results are released phase-wise.

The purpose of SRMJEEE is to offer admisison to BTech courses in SRMIST campuses across the country. Aspirants willing to get admission in SRM BTech courses are required to mandatorily qualify the entrance exam, followed by counselling. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 can apply for this engineering exam.

1. Register for User ID and Password

All candidates should visit the official website for SRMJEEE 2025 first and then register themselves by creating their account.

Candidates need to enter their name, email ID, phone number, city, and state along with the Captcha code and click on register.

The User ID and Password will be generated and sent to your registered mail with a verification link.

2. Log in to the Official Website

Click on the link sent in the mail to visit the website again.

Log in to the website with the User ID and Password sent in the mail after registration and your account will appear.

3. Fill the Application Form

The application form contains several sections, which include personal details, campus preferences, academic qualifications, and test city preferences.

Upload the scanned documents, photograph, and signature in the given format and submit the form after checking the details twice.

4. Make Payment

Proceed to the payment section after filling out the application form.

The payment must be done through the online medium. It can be either mobile banking, debit cards, credit cards, UPI, or other online payment services.

The exam fee for the SRMJEEE exam is ₹ 1400 for candidates to all categories.
The SRMJEEE admit cards are uploaded on the official website - srmist.edu. Candidates can access their admit card of SRMJEEE using the login credentials sent to their email during registration. The admit cards include essential details such as exam venue, date, and timings. It is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the admit card to the exam centre.

The exam will be conducted through Remote Proctored Online Mode (RPOM).

A total of 2 hours 30 minutes will be given to solve the exam.

There will be a total of 130 questions.

The exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

It will be consisting questions from: Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology and newly added sections English and Aptitude. 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking for wrong responses.

Candidates must qualify in the SRMJEEE exam with cut-offs or above marks to get shortlisted for the further selection procedure. The counselling session will be organised in two stages after the declaration of the result. To participate in the counselling procedure, candidates must register for it and pay the necessary fee. The candidates are selected based on their exam performance, their preferences, and the availability of seats in the institute.
The result for SRMJEEE is declared tentatively two weeks after the exam. SRM BTech exam results are published by SRMIST on the official website of SRMJEEE -srmist.edu. Candidates need to log in to the site with their User ID and Password to access the result. Download the results to your device for future reference.

SRMIST is a privately held organisation and follows no reservation policy - not in terms of cut-offs for different category candidates and not in fee structure as well. Hence, there is no reservation policy for the SRMJEEE Exam.

Candidates are advised to solve the previous year's question papers after getting done with the preparation of the entire exam syllabus for practising. Solving the previous year’s exam question papers helps students understand the exam pattern properly.

Mock tests are live tests developed for candidates' exam practise, which contain a certain number of questions and have a time limit to finish the test. The SRMJEEE cut-off are the minimum qualifying marks for to pass out the exam. Candidates with equivalent scores to cut-offs or more will be eligible to qualify for the exam for taking admission to one of the SRM institutes or other engineering colleges in India. However, note that the The cut-offs may vary for SRMJEEE vary institute-wise.
Keep your admit card with you throughout the exam and ensure you carry it to the exam centre.
Bring two photographs that match your admit card image, just in case.
Carry a valid ID proof such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Driving Licence, or Voter ID Card to the exam centre.
Be respectful and obedient to the invigilators, and avoid irrational behavior.
Arrive at the exam centre at least an hour early to avoid unexpected issues like traffic.
Do not bring any electronic devices to the exam hall, including smartphones, smart watches, keypad mobile phones, or Bluetooth devices.

Know the syllabus of the exam and understand the exam pattern before proceeding to the preparation strategy. Focus more on the topics that carry more weightage in the exam.

After preparing each topic as per the syllabus at least once, start solving Previous Year Questions and Previous Year Papers. Solve mock tests for practising and to enhance your speed and accuracy in the exam.
