In an initiative to bridge the gap between academic and industry needs, SVU provides technical education in the form of B.Tech and M.Tech courses for working professionals under the scheme of Flexible Timing which holds the same value as the regular engineering courses. These courses are offered in a flexible timing mode so that working professionals can easily balance both their work and studies. SVU is approved and entitled by UGC and AICTE to offer technical courses. The classes are conducted in a hybrid mode with a blend of online and offline classes. The offline classes are mandatory for practical learning and are held in the evening, on weekends, and on holidays. Students get the facility of a Learning Management System (LMS) where they can access the recorded video lectures in case they miss their online classes and other relevant study material for their course as well. Labs are conducted for practical learning every weekend on the university campus. In case anybody is unable to attend the on-campus labs, then they get the facility to access labs through virtual and remote mode with simulations. There are various technology-enabled online labs and remote labs with the latest tech. Continuous Assessment: Regular assignments, quizzes, etc to keep working professionals on track with the course. Research & Entrepreneurial Opportunities: Applied Research projects and inculcation of entrepreneurship behaviour.

Admission Process

The admissions process takes place in online mode. Fresh admission starts from the month of January of every year. There are direct admissions, no entrance exam is conducted for the admission process.The addmission procedure 2025 for the online course at Shri Venkateshwara University is as follow:

STEP 1

There is an online admission procedure for applying to a technical program at SVU. Fresh admissions generally start in January of every year. One only needs to fill out the admission form available online on the SVU website and apply directly for admission. There is no entrance exam conducted for technical programs, unlike other B.Tech programs. The admission procedure for 2025 for online courses at SVU is as follows: Step 1: Visit the official SVU website. Step 2: On the Home Page, you will find Apply Now under which you have to fill in your basic details and submit. Step 3: Now the admission form will open on your screen. Fill in your basic personal details and click on “Next”. Step 4: Now select your course and specialization and complete the fee payment. Step 5: Fill in all your academic details and then upload the necessary documents and then Submit.

I was enrolled in SVU and their LMS and study material qualities are great.lecturers are good in their respective field .Their support team was also supportive . Only student and college internal communication was very less which need to be improved .Assignment number was challenging as compared to time ,that too need to addressed as working professional don't have time to fullfil all assignment deadline.
