Bharathidasan University was founded in the year 1982, and the founders named the university after the name of the famous Tamil poet, Kanagasabai Subbu or also called   Bharathidasan. This Institute aims to achieve excellence by catering for students with quality education, world-class infrastructure and all the facilities the students. The university has around 2 faculties that have 39+ departments and around 29 research centres equipped with all the facilities. The programmes offered in Online mode help students from all over the world to get the knowledge and skills at their fingertips. This Institute provides 151 programs which include 40 PG, 31 UG, 19 P.G. Diploma, 10 Certificate courses and 33 PhD programs for the students. University Online Programs are approved by the Univeristy Grant Commission (UGC). The University is constantly working to achieve the motto behind the Slogan, “We will create a new brave world”. This includes offering academic innovation for the upliftment of society.
