What are the documents required to apply for the NTA Swayam exam 2025?

Along with submitting personal, academic and contact details, the aspirants are also required to submit certain documents as per specifications. Here is the list of things to keep ready before filling out the online application form.


  • Educational/Qualification documents for information.

  • Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format in size between 10 kb–200 kb, either in colour or black & white, with 80% of the face (without mask) visible, including ears against a white background.

  • Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format in a size between 4 kb –30 kb.

  • Category/PwD certificate with file size between 50kb to 300kb in jpg/jpeg format, if applicable.

  • Bank account details for payment of a fee.

  • A valid debit/credit card or Net banking account for online payment.

To begin with, visit exams.nta.ac.in/swayam and click on the link to fill out an application form. Complete the registration process by submitting basic details, including name, contact number, email ID, gender, and category.

Next, log in using the generated credentials and complete a detailed application form, including personal, contact, and academic information. Moreover, select the preferred exam centres list.

Uploading of documents

Once all details are submitted, the next step is to upload the documents as per the specifications laid down by the NTA.

Payment of the application fee

The final step to apply for the NTA Swayam July entrance exam is to submit the online application fee. Note that the registration fee is non-refundable.
