INI-CET Exam 2024: Dates, Admit Card, Exam Pattern & Syllabus Here

INI-CET full form is the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. It is conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi. INI-CET exam offers admission into PG courses such as Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgie (MCh). These courses are offered at 22 institutions nationwide, including 18 AIIMS, JIPMER (Puducherry), PGIMER (Chandigarh), NIMHANS (Bengaluru), and SCTIMST, Trivandrum. The exam is conducted twice a year, one for the January session and another for the July session. The INI-CET Exam date for the July session is 19 May 2024. INI-CET Application 2024

  • The INI-CET application process involved basic and final registration followed by the generation of Exam Unique Code (EUC).

  • The exam conducting body had introduced the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) process for this exam registration, which facilitated the selection of more than one course at a time.

  • The first step of the application process for INI-CET was basic registration. Candidates had to register themselves on the official website of AIIMS Delhi using a valid email ID and mobile number. Then they had to check the provisional status of their registration.

  • The next step was code generation and final registration. Only those candidates whose basic registration was accepted could generate the RUC code. This code was a mandatory requirement to proceed with the final registration.

  • The July 2024 exam will be held on May 19 in computer-based mode.

  • The application process for the July session started on March 18.

  • The deadline to submit the INI-CET 2024 application form was April 26 2024.

INI-CET Admit Card 2024

The July 2024 INI-CET admit card will be available online on May 13, 2024. Upon successful registration, you will receive a link on your respective email IDs. You should know that AIIMS does not mail individual admit cards; instead, you must obtain them from the official website, aim exams.ac.in. To download your admit card, log into your accounts. Information including a password, EUC code, and registration ID is required for login.

INI-CET 2024 Exam Date

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) releases the INI-CET July exam schedule on its official website. According to the latest notification from AIIMS, the computer-based July 2024 exam will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria of INI-CET Exam

  • As announced by the Government of India and the Dental Council of India, respectively, a candidate must hold an MBBS degree for MD/MS/DM/6 years/MCH/6 years and a BDS degree for MDS courses from a university recognised by the National Medical Commission/Medical Council of India.

  • Additionally, all INIs must have completed the mandatory 12-month rotating internship/practical training by January 31, 2024, at the latest.

  • Candidates are not eligible to register for this exam if their internship ends after January 31, 2024.

  • Minimum Marks in MBBS/ BDS or equivalent Examinations: The Indian National, who has obtained an eligibility degree in India, must have obtained a minimum of the following marks (aggregate of all professional MBBS/BDS professional examinations): (1)

    For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate. (2)

    For all other categories including OBC/EWS Category 55% marks in aggregate.

  •  For Persons with Benchmark Disabilities [PWBD] candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (a) and (b) will be applicable for the category to which the candidate belongs and shall apply.

INI-CET 2024: Results

  • The INI-CET July 2024 results will be released online on May 25, 2024.

  • Once released, the result, which contains a list of provisionally qualified candidates, will be uploaded in PDF format.

  • To access your result, you’ll need to download it from the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in.

  • The AIIMS INI-CET 2024 result will include details such as roll number, overall rank, category, and percentile.

  • If you meet the minimum cutoff, you’ll find your name included in the result PDF list.

  • For the general category, the minimum cutoff is set at the 50th percentile, while for the reserved category, it’s at the 45th.

  • Once qualified, you can download your scorecard from the official AIIMS website.

  • To download the scorecard, you must provide your application number, Exam Unique Code, Password, and captcha.

  • AIIMS will release a merit list based on the result. It will include the names of candidates provisionally eligible for the INI-CET 2024 counselling round.
